Settling

From an agreed figure to your registrar

The order never changes: your money is held by a third party, the name moves to you, and only then is anything paid out.

One number, in writing

We quote a single price in US dollars. It covers the name and the transfer. There is no commission for you to pay on top and no auction against other buyers.

Payment sits with a licensed escrow service

Simone opens the transaction with Escrow.com and you receive its instructions by email. You pay the escrow service by wire or card, not us. We see only that the funds are secured.

The name moves to an account you control

You tell us where you keep your domains. A push within the same registrar can take a day. A move between registrars uses an authorisation code and a registry waiting period of five to seven days.

You confirm, then funds are released

Once the name shows in your account, you confirm receipt to the escrow service and it pays us. From there the name is yours to renew at your registrar’s normal rate.

Questions people ask before paying

Can the name be locked after the transfer?

Some registrars place a sixty-day lock on a name that has just moved between them. It stops another transfer, not your use of the name: the site, the email and the DNS all work during that time.

Can we pay in parts?

We sell on a single payment through escrow. If your accounts team needs an invoice first, ask and Simone will send one with the escrow reference.

Will our old address stop working?

No. Keep it, and point it to the new one. Most companies forward the old address for years so nothing printed is wasted.

What if the transfer stalls?

Escrow keeps your payment until the name arrives. If we cannot deliver it, the escrow service returns the funds to you under its own rules.
