What we place
Plain names for real businesses
We do not publish a list. You have the name from our note, or you have one in mind; either way the form asks for it and Simone answers about that name only.
What the names have in common
Each is a .com, each is words people already use, and each describes a business rather than inventing one.
-
The trade itself
A service or a craft in two or three words: what the van says on the side.
-
Trade and place
The service with a city, county or region, for firms whose customers are near.
-
Product category
The generic name of a thing a company makes or sells, without a brand on it.
-
Descriptive phrase
A short phrase a buyer says when they need the service, worded as they would say it.
What we will not offer you
Someone else’s mark
We do not hold names built on a registered brand. Before any purchase, we suggest you run your own trademark check; it costs little and settles the question.
A name that fits nobody
If we cannot name a company that would plainly use it, we do not write to anyone about it.
Have a name in mind?
Send it with your company and Simone will tell you whether we hold it and, if so, the figure.
